NCFreedom Charter

Article I – Name of Organization

The name of the organization will be the North Carolina Freedom Project, hereinafter referred to as ‘NCFreedom.’

Article II – Vision and Mission Statements

Vision:
NCFreedom’s member organizations will be the principle driving force to restore Liberty in our nation, and demonstrate pre-eminent leadership in our local and state resistance movement on a national scale. Through a variety of initiatives, we will redirect our elected representatives to support our values, beliefs, and principles which include:

  • The advancement of individual and constitutional liberties
  • The exercise of a “limited government” philosophy
  • The implementation of fiscally responsible government spending
  • The cessation of fraud & corruption in Raleigh and Washington, D.C.

Mission:
We seek to inject a non-partisan, proactive, persuasive and constructive voice of rational reasoning into our local, state and national political affairs; a strong citizen’s voice that represents our Founders’ values, beliefs and principles consistent with our unique American heritage and traditions, our constitutional rights, and the inspired wisdom of our founding fathers.

We seek to eradicate “Tyranny”, where tyranny is defined as the exercise of power over subjects and others with a rigor not authorized by law or justice, or not requisite for the purposes of government.

We seek to re-establish “Liberty”, where liberty is defined as having the freedom to think or act without being constrained by necessity or force.

Article III – Principles and Values

Principles: Principles are defined as the fundamental doctrine regarding laws or facts of nature – rules or code of conduct.

1. An individual is the fundamental unit of human value, an individual owns himself without precondition, and social structure must respect the sovereignty of each individual.

2. The moral basis necessary for sovereign individuals to prosper together, in social structures, in peace, is completely defined by the “ideal laws for a civil society”:

  • Do not encroach upon others or their property.
  • Do all that you agreed to do.

3. Negative rights (rules against coercion) are consistent with 1 and 2, and form the appropriate basis for establishment of relationships among sovereign individuals.

4. Natural rights derive from 1, 2 and 3. Natural rights exist prior to any establishment of law or government and describe an individual’s liberty, or freedoms, to:

  • Own, develop and dispose of property (products of labor)
  • Bear arms for defense of self, family and property
  • Establish associations, contracts and self-government
  • Assemble, speak and petition to redress encroachments or breaches.

5. Capitalism is the only economic system compatible with liberty. Any attempt to incorporate altruism or collectivism is a violation of 1, 2, 3 and 4.

6. Liberty can remain secure only if government is so limited that it cannot infringe upon the natural rights of sovereign individuals or intrude into free exchange in capital markets.

Values:
Values are defined as measures of integrity – attributes of people that are inherently desirable or intrinsically good.

  • Industry (persistence, procure wealth)
  • Frugality (secure virtue)
  • Resolution (personal responsibility)
  • Sincerity (reverence, honesty, gratitude)
  • Justice (hope)
  • Order (consistency)
  • Tranquility (patience)
  • Moderation
  • Temperance
  • Humility
  • Silence
  • Cleanliness
  • Chastity
  • Courage

It is our belief that our elected officials of both major political parties have misused the nation’s resources and have systematically worked to dismantle the United States Constitution.

We will support and endorse only those candidates for public office who will pledge the following:

  • To be fiscally responsible
  • To support limited government
  • To promote individual responsibility, in specific contrast to a “welfare state”
  • To remain independent of party coercion
  • To uphold the Constitution of the nation, state, county, or municipality of which they intend to run for office

NCFreedom’s Organization Structure

North Carolina Freedom Project (NCFreedom) has adopted an organizational structure known as People’s Law as outlined in “The 5000 Year Leap”.

peoples_law

Why did we choose this structure as opposed to the more well known Ruler’s Law? The answer is simple: our country can only be restored by individuals reclaiming their natural law right to freedom.

County Steering Committees:

The building blocks of NCFreedom start at the county level. Each county is responsible for the formation of a county steering committee. There are two requirements for the county steering committee:

  1. The name will be NCFreedom 912 – XXX County.
  2. The steering committee elects or appoints one individual to represent the county in the regional steering committee. An alternate representative is also chosen so that a county is always represented in a regional steering committee meeting.

Here are two examples for clarification:

  • A county has a group called “We the People”. This group is the only group in that county. Their autonomy is still intact under this name. They are also represented in NCFreedom as NCFreedom 912 – Macon County if they are in Macon County. If another group forms in this same county in another area, they are to be included in this county’s steering committee representation.
  • A county has a 912 group and a Tea Party Group. Both groups organize one steering committee for the county and elect one individual to represent their county in the regional steering committee. This example can be expanded to as many groups in a county as are to be considered.

NCFreedom as a state entity will recognize the representative from each county. It is up to the individual counties to practice cooperation and prudent methods for their member groups. Groups that are not represented in a county due to internal issues or politics can approach the regional steering committee to petition for their participation.

The county steering committee will provide initiatives and agenda items for the region to consider and implement.

Regional Steering Committees:

The representatives from each county that are affiliated with NCFreedom form the regional steering committee. The regional committee is responsible for the content on their sub domain on NCFreedom.us. The regional committee is also responsible for putting all county events on their sub domain’s calendar and coordinating region wide initiatives and agenda items. Each regional steering committee will select two representatives to form the State Steering Committee. The regional steering committee will provide initiatives and agenda items for the state to consider and implement.

State Steering Committee:

The state steering committee will review the initiatives and agenda items submitted by the regional steering committees that require action across the state. This committee will also be responsible for management related issues for NCFreedom as a legal entity. This committee will meet on a quarterly basis or as needed to address pending issues. A chairperson will be elected by the state steering committee to serve an annual term.
